Admissions Variation 2021-22

Update: On Tuesday 20th October 2020, the In Year Variation to our 2021-22 Admissions Policy was approved as below. We have now updated the police on the Admissions Pages of this website to reflect the changes.

We are making an application to vary our Admissions Policy for 2021-22.
 
This is because during the COVID-19 Lockdown period, all places of worship were closed. This means that it will be difficult for parents to meet our Oversubscription Criteria that requires regular church attendance by the definition contained within our policy.
 
Therefore, the Diocese of St Alban's, on behalf of the Governors at All Saints as Admitting Authority, are submitting a request to the Office of the School's Adjudicator (OSA) to insert a statement into the policy as follows:
 
“In the event that during the period specified for attendance at worship the church has been closed for public worship and has not provided alternative premises for that worship, the requirements of these [admissions] arrangements in relation to attendance will only apply to the period when the church or alternative premises have been available for public worship”
 
Please find below a copy of the relevant Admissions Arrangements 2021-22 with the affected sections highlighted. 
 
Once we have received notification that the changes have been approved by the OSA, we will update the policy on the 'Admissions' page of our website.
