Curriculum

We pride ourselves on offering a wide and varied curriculum for our pupils. We aim to ensure they have every opportunity to develop new skills and knowledge through a curriculum which is inspiring, engaging and relevant to our pupils here.

Our teachers model the high expectations we ask the children to meet, which when coupled with an individual approach to support each child, ensures that every child makes progress.

We have a strong culture of resilience through learning - helping pupils to foster powerful habits that support effective learning and recognising that by having the resilience to try, and even fail at first, we learn best and deeply. This supports our pupils becoming independent learners, and developing a life-long engagement with learning at the start of the school journey.

The links below will take you to information about our Curriculum. We have organised this information in different ways to reflect the different people who may be looking at it.

Each Key Stage has it's own area, containing the Year Group curriculum maps, termly curriculum newsletter and any specific information for that Key Stage. Parents will find this most useful for finding out what their child will be doing this year.

There is a subject specific area too - this has the same or similar information grouped by subject rather than year group, and includes the Subject Vision, Overview and information about other whole school curriculum foci (such as Forest School, Mental Health/Nurture and Collective Worship).

In reality, no curriculum can be fully captured on paper, and these documents serve only to guide the teaching and learning we intend our pupils to experience at All Saints. The proof, as always, is in the work produced by the children.
