Ofsted & SIAMS

Ofsted's last visit to our School was in March 2023. They commented:

"Pupils at All Saints are proud of their school. They try hard, respect others and are kind.

Relationships are very positive. Pupils know that their teachers listen to what they have to say in lessons. All staff have high expectations of pupils' behaviour and learning. Pupils enjoy their learning, listen to their teachers and behave well.

Pupils feel safe. They trust the adults in school. Pupils are well cared for. Pupils know that staff care about their mental health and well being, as well as their learning.

Leaders have planned the curriculum with high expectations of pupils' learning and achievement.

Staff have expert knowledge to teach early reading. Most pupils become independent readers quickly because they are taught well.

Leaders have devised a range of opportunities for pupils to develop personally as well as academically. Leaders aim to ensure pupils see and experience life 'in all its fullness'. Pupils are respectful and interested, and contribute well to the school community."

Our latest SIAMS inspection in April 2022 found that:

"A strong and tangible culture of nurture for all permeates every aspect of life at All Saints.

The strong focus on each pupil being treated as a unique individual is seen in all aspects of school life. They speak powerfully about 'Zones of Regulation' helping them to express how they are feeling, enabling them to be more ready to learn.

Staff are keen provide pupils with a diverse range of books. They are intentional about planning opportunities for pupils to encounter other aspects of diversity. One parent was thrilled when her daughter came home stating 'I never knew people who look like me can be anything they want to be.'

Opportunities to develop spiritually are seen throughout the school and pupils speak eloquently of their deepest thoughts.

All Saints lives out its vision to nurture and develop resilience so that all achieve in a truly authentic way. The Headteacher and whole community are passionate about everyone being able to flourish, despite such challenging times."
