Aims, Values & Vision

Our Core Aims

Nurture, Resilience and Achievement for All

Surrounded by God’s love, we aim to achieve a Nurturing environment, building Resilient learners who can go on to Achieve, helping children develop a firm foundation for their future life. In our school, everyone is respected and valued, so they can fully participate and do their best.

Our school is a welcoming, caring place that belongs to the whole community, firmly rooted in core Christian values – love of God and love of neighbour. These underpin the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of the children in our care.

We aim to be:

Compassionate – caring, tolerant and kind towards each other;

Curious – interested in the world around us, questioning and searching;

Resilient – we know what we are doing and why we are doing it, tackling challenges with confidence and persistence;

Reflective – thinking about our daily lives, striving to improve and better ourselves, showing forgiveness and understanding.
Our Core Christian Values
Nurture, Resilience and Achievement for All
We recognise that children can only achieve in a caring, nurturing environment, coupled with the emotional resilience to understand learning as a journey. Our motto tries to capture this succinctly.
This is underpinned by the bible verse:
"I have come that you might have life - life in all its fullness" John 10.10
recognising our school's aim to be a place surrounded by God's Love and enabling all children to achieve well.
Our core values of Love, Kindness, Resilience and Understanding enable us to express this through our actions, words and habits.
These are explored and shown through our curriculum design, and linked themes which we reflect on during Collective Worship each half term.
The poster below shows these links to help everyone understand the integrated nature of how our values flow through the school.
The All Saints Vision Tree - a pictorial representation of the aims and vision for our school. It shows the deep Christian foundation, rooted in God's Word, supported by the nurturing & resilient environment of the trunk, and resulting in a glorious canopy where the pupils achieve in a vibrant and engaging curriculum. The three aims: Aim High, Learning to Learn and Creative Curriculum form some of the overarching themes of our strategic planning and direction.
